I think Mahindra has more rights to call this new TUV as Bolero neo than Tata calling it's Harrier plus as Safari bcoz TUV when introduced in 2015 was supposed to be the replacement of aging Bolero.

Really got upset with this design..as it no way matches the stance of #Bolero...the height of the bonnet,length of the car all are mismatched with bolero.. It might be named as TUV 500 or 700 Finally what is missing is The Royalty of Bolero

The Bolero Original looks far better and rugged compared to a wannabe that was once the unreliable TUV. I own the Bolero and I would probably still buy another one if I ever need to change this one but won't touch this raised hatchback. Really wish Mahindra starts building more of the retro style Thar and Bolero and carry out engine improvements on those rather than wasting time on these

In which model MLD is available ? please clarify. Because without MLD customer will face a lot of wheel spin issue due to loss of traction . This problem was very much evident in every TUV300 . Later mahindra recalled and installed MLD in TUV300

Good efforts trying to demystify difflocks. A performance comparison between a lower varient enabled with EBD and this one with MLD would have completed it because an EBD can also get the job done by distributing engine's power to either side of the differential equally. This way the wheel on the traction surface receives some power and help the car move. Is the later as good as a dedicated set-up, we could have found out :)

With this name change, M&M decided it no longer wants to sell the TUV300 to urban buyers. There's no way an urban buyer would want to buy a Bolero.

Olden days Armada was brought forward with Bolero..... I was a kid who always grew up watching Bolero in the neighbourhood and in advertisements, wishing it to buy some day when I start earning. But with this kind of Jokes, I think my dream will remain just a dream. Bolero, Scorpio, Safari, Innova, Qualis, Sumo, Serria, Estate were some of the cars which were really made for India. Now we hardly find any of those Manly cars on the road. I am a die-hard TATA fan. Bolero and Scorpio are like my Unofficial GFs. But today I feel heartbroken...... I don't want my kid to buy those Sub4 meters so-called SUVs. SUVs are which give you a feel of King of the ROAD when you are in the driver's seat, a feeling to conquer anything. I learned driving with ABS, EBD, airbags, hill start and stop assist. Cruise control, parking sensors. I appreciate ABS, EBDs, airbags as a good safety features.... the rest of all I count them as useless. Today, I feel heartbroken with the END of an ERA of Bolero. You will always be missed......

This is just the BS6 version on tuv. Since the brand TUV did not have too many takers, they just slaped on their most iconic brand to piggy back tuv sales. But i would say rather than doing that if they could have spruced up original Bolero's interior with good plastics, more ergonomic seating, a 7 inch infotainment screen with good features and speakers, a bit more engine refinenment, some funcky colour options ( like Tata's Dark edition), a great set of alloys, and on road price of below 12 lakhs for all this, it would sell like hot cakes for again another decade.

But appearance both bolero neo and Tuv 300 looks same , and Tuv 300 is not successfull model. Automatic differential lock is something cool is less than 10 lakhs budget.

I'm using old DI turbo bolero sportz model.....my father purchased it in 2007.......it is 14 year old model......no doubt bolero is a rugged suv......i'm using it for my farm work......workshop work........I'm using it on very hard terrain with load in the boot.......this is only possible because bolero.......but as a young bolero owner I dont want copy......I want a original redesigned rugged bolero.......yet stylish......with 4wd......not a copy

People think Mahindra wanted to get clear up TUV 300 stock by using bolero brand but in reality Mahindra is never going to jeopardize or compromise the iconic car like " bolero" and "Scorpio" by upgrading for mere urban customers, they are not fools.... And for reason they launch different alternative every couple of years like TUV 300, XUV 300, quntro, bolero neo etc etc... deep down The heart and soul of Mahindra has only 3 basic cars : bolero, thar and Scorpio. ..
